Sigh, my shoulder just cannot take the weight of the awesomeness that is the venerable X160BR. This solid mahogany masterpiece really is all the guitar that everyone wants it to be, low action, push-pull's, and the most understated color ever made for a truly awesome beast of an axe.
The body has a couple small nicks, and the headstock also has a couple of beauty-marks. I have no idea where the trem-arm is, and the knobs were changed way before I ever owned it. The selector switch works fine, but the plastic knob is broken, and is not too hard to replace, I just haven't because I usually used it in the bridge position. The back cover was always missing. The natural aging on this guitar is just classic, and its a great axe, but I need to make room and I think some Electra collector here deserves to own this one. The electronics are clean and it works great.
I am trying to avoid putting this on eBay because I lose too much money, but I can do a transaction there if you feel more comfortable, it will just have to cost more. I know I am brand new on here, in fact I looked up the page to be able to post this, hoping one existed for collectors of these, so, for credentials, on eBay I am South_Park_Alchemy and I have a 100% rating and have for years.
I know how rare these are, and I really need to get as much as possible for this, so I'm not looking for pawnshop-level offers, but I am realistic also. I want the high-side to be persuaded to let go, but I won't be overly greedy. Please PM me for pics and with offers. I always pack for battle with the postal authorities and have never lost an article.
I cannot figure out how to get pics of it up here, but if one of you can, I will happily email them to you so that I don't have to send them to everyone lol.
Thank you in advance,
Mark

Yup, it has the little cover that holds the 2 9v batteries and is def an X160 in the only finish it came in, metallic brown. A beautiful metallic brown, lol, but brown nonetheless. Gotta wonder who made That decision. It is a fast and low machine that really does the model justice. I'm happy to send pics to an email, but cannot figure out how to get them up on here, I'm just not puter savvy enuf.

That is not quite true. Most of the x160's that we have seen have been brown in color, but we have seen a couple of them in Graphite (metallic olive greenish).

For pictures try to upload them to a photo sharing service like photobucket. From their site when you are viewing just the only picture you want to publish (not a library/folder grouping) click inside the box that says IMG. When you click in there, it should change to "copied". Once the picture IMG is copied, paste this link into your post where you want the picture (paste with a right-click paste or use the control-v combination keys to paste). You can check your work by hitting the "preview" button at the bottom of the message.

Oh, yes!! Unfortunately, shipping kills this stone cold dead for me.... I see non-standard knobs and a broken selector switch, neither of which are deal breakers!

Do the electronics all work?

Yes, all the knobs work and change the sound in some way. This guitar sounds great. The action is low and fast.

I've shipped many guitars. It always comes out to about $35 and I just get a guitar box from a music store and then pack it for battle with the authorities.

If you pay to ship it to Australia, I'll ship it there.
