Just wondering if anyone here has the X720 and if there is anyway to find the year of manufacture. I bought it new in the late 70's .

What is the serial number on it?

I belive it would follow the rule of thumb for late 70s and onward for Mat
guitars in that the first number in the serial is the year of manufacture.

I guess that rule doesn't apply in this case because there is no way it's an 81 model.
