Looks good, but $600?! He calls that "a fraction of the cost of a gibson," but I'm pretty sure you can get a "faded" Gibson V for not much more than $600.

Don't get me wrong, I love the guitar, but come on...

bwaaa haa haa, the seller has a new listing for that Vee:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Electra-flying-V-Ve ... dZViewItem

The Title is "Electra flying V Vee electric guitar ebay sucks more" at least until that one gets pulled. Wondering if the seller got hacked, or if he's just ticked off at eBay.

He did reply to my questions about the X935, telling me "I've owned a bunch of these guitars, and it looks stock to me..." But of course didn't answer my question, or explain why the pickups were turned the same way. I think I'm gonna pass on this cats offerings, something doesn't smell right to me.

Yea but if somthing is wrong with the seller you will probably regret it. I have gotten guitars with fairly big problems when the seller was upfront about it and never regretted them.

I have a vantage that had some, undisclosed problems (the guitar was still a good value at the price); the seller denied it and then went balistic with negative feedback when I pointed them out. I would rather work on guitar knowing what I face after giving my money to a good person than deal with someone who is not honest.

That can't happen anymore. As of a few days ago, sellers can no longer leave neutral or negative feedback for buyers. The only option the seller has is to offer positive feedback, or no feedback at all.

Nice for buyers - now you can be honest without worrying about retaliatory feedback - but maybe not so great for sellers.

I also just noticed that this V has the chrome pickup cover in the neck position, and the clear top in the bridge, just like the two that I have owned. In the catalog pictures that I've seen on the site here, the V always has two clear top pickups.
