Here's my x420 with gold hardware and grover tuners. It already had some modifications, so I figured I might as well make it how I wanted it. Gold hardware is courtesy Thorny (with a little Treasure Gold wax treatment). I have a repair to make on the upper horn (courtesy Markymayhem), I need to figure out some other pickguard, and then I'm thinking a bronze engraved truss rod cover to top it off! Actually, I've left the pickguard off recently and it doesn't look bad at all. Questions/comments/criticisms/suggestions? Let me know what you think!





P.S. I have a full set of chrome hardware if fair shape (tuners/tailpiece/bridge etc.) that I may or may not sell, but I'll definitely give up if anyone is in need.

Lookin' good, although I'd at least go with a black PG, maybe a ES-335 style PG, or no PG.. the creme LP guard isn't doin' it for me...

Funny you should mention that, I took the picguard off permanently shortly after I took these pics . I'll get some pics of the damage soon.. few more things to do before I get to that repair.
