:cry: Found this while looking on ebay today. How could anyone do that to such a beautiful guitar. To each his own I guess but I think it is a tragedy and hope whomever gets it will remove the Bigsby and restore it to it's original beauty.

I don't think that is a Tree Of Life but a bolt neck early model
cheapie that has been "pimped out/destroyed/kustomized
tricked out/ruined/improved" or whatever you would call it.

I thought that at least some of the original Tree of Life models were bolt ons. It looks like they left the original setup for the tailpiece in place so a Gotoh metric tail piece should fit.

Its an early Super Magnum (were made both in a bolt on and set neck version)..it can easily be restored.....I dig the LS headstock

I like it, the Bigsby makes it look sort of elegant.
But that shoddy pickup has to go.

These are rare and should be desirable! Still fetched a premium price!

The Bigsby is easy enough to lose. Bet you could recoup about $100 of the original purchase price putting that trem back up on Ebay!
