Hi guys, I have an X2RD Futura for sale. It's in great shape, plays & sounds great. I'm asking $250.00.
Thanks!

Do you have any pictures..? What's the difference between the X1 and a X2? I have to agree with X189 that the White ones are stunning, don't know if I've seen that body style in red though. thanks.

I put my picture as an avitar for my profile. I believe the difference the bodies are reversed. Mine is red with black neck & hardware.

He's right. the red Futura is a mirror image of the white one. Otherwise they're identical- Phoenix neck, MMK's, etc. If anything, the red one 'makes sense' in terms of playing shape (not to mention location of the selector switch)... I always wonder if the white ones were a factory mistake and they jsut decided to go with it.

And oddly enough, it is the white, 'reversed' one that does it for me! :D

I like the strap button on the upper bout (white version)... Never been able to play either, but I would think that the weight would be better distributed on the X1PW. Anyone have the pleasure of trying both?

I kindal ike the reversedwhite one more.
Like Proendorser says, I think it'll probably help the weight sitting on your shoulders.

It really depends on the induvidual.
I will agree, I'm so used to a selector switch by the contols it'll be weird wo have it LP style by the neck.

Um, all the above aside... I would buy that in a flash if I was a bit closer; it looks to be in great nick, and I really want another Electra. You see, I have 2 x Vantage, 2 xAPII and 7 x Westone but only 1 lonely Electra - (all hail 189; we are not worthy!!), and I reckon at the moment, they are Uncle Matts' dirty little secret and are being undersold, especially the Phoenix, which are my absolute favourites, and an Electra pointy is a Phoenix in a pretty frock, so you can see where I'm coming from, eh!! One day, I shall own, and perform with, an Electra pointy.... :D

Yes, you can speculate all you want but each of these models is a great player with a personality all its own. Few Phoenixes had the VVTT controls, this is a good way to get them if you are used to that setup.

I'm sorry, I won't rub the Futura in your face when I play it.

MASSIVE thanks again to X-189 and ProEndorser.
