I just found these guys at a local shop today, while I was in putting something on layaway. 2 (what looks like 74-era, by the sn) Maxons and an MMK45! I paid something like 60 for all 3...

...and the layaway item, a clean 72 Les Paul Signature...

Woohoo!

Little question: this MMK 45 has 3 wires, red, white, green, and a ground. How the hell do I hook it up? Clearly, 2 of the 3 go together and one is hot, but anybody know which?

Nevermind...I think I've got it figured out. The red is for tapping and the white and green are for phase. Neat.

Nice score!

Mom and Pop shop, or one of the big corporates?

Here is a pretty good illustration of a wiring diagram:

It's for a H/S/H setup, but you can see where the third wire for the bridge pickup gets used, on the phase switch. I hope it helps, Mike.

Mom and Pop shop, kinda. They're not a chain, but about as big as a music store can get here, selling almost exclusively used stuff. They always have the choicest gear in the area, but they're a bit...proud...of most of it.

Great score, I am certain they will be put to good use. Now lets see if we can find an empty body to put them in. Good Luck

I can tell you of all sorts of good deals outside of E-bay.
I'm as cheap as they come. :D
