Hey guys, lend me your modules and I'll be happy to whip together a clip. Got a Flanger coming, will post the clip once I get it recorded, the Outlaw is going to get a workout let me tell ya.

hmmm. I got the tank tone today, and it sorta made the x-310 sound like my '33 national steel... well, at least the metal body sound....

The MPC-10 Flanger is one of my favorites; very versatile with adjustment knobs set at 7 and 5 o'clock respectively - left to right; sounds just right on Molly Hatchet's version of "Dreams I'll Never See".

Don't have the Tank Tone - and have not heard one either.

I know this is an old thread, but I see it hasn't been dealt with. I had to dig through about a terrabyte of files, well, windoze did the work, but I found the original c2000 sound file for the tank tone. Forgive my playing, but at least it'll give you an idea of the tanks sound if you haven't already found one.

I also tripped over the original c1999 Electra Page that Mike C sent me! What a flashback!!!

Here is the Tank Tone clip I threw together, covering the entire frequency range. The Dire Straits riff turns out surprisingly well with the tank tone...

Enjoy, Mike.

Oh sure, trump my lame a$$ 10 year old playing 20 minutes after I work my fingers to the bone digging it out of the archive...LOL. Nice job on the clip, captured the tank beautifully!

BTW, disk space and bandwidth were a big issue in 2000 when I made that clip, a 500k file would kill you when your disk space was 5-10 meg...LOL

Methinks thou doth protest too much... j/k Welcome back to Electraland Mike, and thanks for carrying the Electra torch during the 'Dark Ages' of the 90's, Mike.

P.S. if you're really smitten with the Falcon (and who isn't?!?) PM me, Ontario isn't that far from Michigan, who knows maybe we could work out a deal in the shadow of the Ambassador Bridge...

P.P.S. Do you recognize the Riff at the end in the 'Brian May' style??

Moi, protest...not at all, I love your riff especially Brian May's side trip to Canada

My timing sucks on falling in love with The Falcon, during the hockey season I travel to the USA every week. Also I was in Saint Louis for the first time about a month ago and never went on an Electra hunt...DOH! Always next year.

I'll PM you...
