It'd be OK if you had all the bits to make it go!! That sanding worries me a bit; I'll just bet there'll be a sharp line around the sanded/unsanded edge which will entail much work with a block and sandpaper...

My Phoenix was in worse shape than this when I bought it. Somebody really buggered the thing with a router.

I think I paid a little more, added a licensed Floyd Rose and some alnico pickups from another Ebay supplier, refinished the body, and had a pretty deacent guitar for about $150 total (not including my own labor, of course).
