No. The guy won't provide a FedEx number and he's sent me on a wild goose chase to my local PO Box. Claims it was lost in the mail. Either it was a scam to begin with or he got a better offer and wants to keep both payments.

Time for me to start working on rolling this back.

Whatever happened to Honor, Integrity, commitment, and just fair deals? I wish you the best. I had to deal with the same type problem awhile back that left a bad taste in my mouth for paypal but I eventually got the problem fixed and paypal came through for me. Good luck You never know with snail mail these days unless you ship it express or insured then it is still not for certain.

18 days since I paid him, we are in a next-day ground shipping zone from each other. I formally requested my money back tonight. I have a friend who works for the FBI over in McLean who will perhaps assist me in making the seriousness of this request understood.

Tell him that non-delivery after receiving payment across state lines is a federal offense, and you are getting the FTC and the FBI involved. Worked for me one time.

Got an email from him today, the guitar supposedly went to the wrong address and was returned to him... because nobody would ever accept a free guitar in the mail!

My little friend who works for the FBI is going to run over and pick it up. I told her to bring the Hostage Rescue Team with her.

She is very single, earns very good money, has impeccable morals and references, is in her early thirties. I can introduce you if you are interested.

My G-chick picked it up yesterday. The seller switched the gig bag from a Godin LG case (which I could use, since I have three Godin LG-shape guitars) to a Fender case and said something about refunding the shipping on Paypal, but the G-chick brought it to western PA for dinner and the bottom line is that I'm in possession of it now.

I knew it was a winner when I strummed it at our meeting point: clear, musical, LOUD. Then I took it home and plugged it in. To say it's a cut above the other Phoenixes I have is putting it mildly. I don't know exactly what the two switches are *supposed* to do but you can manipulate the guitar to give you a fabulous Jimmy Page tone thorough an amp with no effects.

LOVE IT.

First switch is coilcut, 2nd is phase, 3rd is the Preamp on/off switch

JImmy Page used his humbuckers out of phase A LOT, which is most likely what you're experiencing, add a phase shifter and you can do pretty much anything from Physical Graffiti... Are all three micro switches still intact? Enjoy, Mike.
