I have an early X640 and one of the three toggle switches has snapped off at the base. Has anyone else come up with a replacement? It doesn't have to look right, as long as it works without drilling the pickguard out...

If it is either the series or phase switches, it's a simple dpdt mini switch, typically under $5 at your neighborhood Radio Shack, and a fairly quick soldering job. If it is the Active Circuit switch, that's a twelve pin monster 4pdt (quad pole double throw) switch... which you can probably find at a decent electronics supply house, but you'll need a good desoldering tool and the patience of Job to replace it... or pay a tech an hour labor to do it for you.

From memory, I believe the first mini switch (nearest the pickup selector) is the Series/Parallel switch, center switch is the Phase reverse (hooked to the bridge pickup) and the last switch (most vulnerable...) is the Active on switch.

Good luck, Mike.
