Man this has been a great week. After a long search for just the right Maple Pro my search is over. I scored a very early model to match my Elvin and Jazz Strad with the trapeze tailpieces. It is a beauty and plays like a dream. it has much the same feel as Ray that Pro owns. You can feel every note and she sings. A few finish cracks but no major blems or hickups anywhere. Plays and sounds great. I also rcvd the early sustainer model from Mcbrat and it plays well also. Lastly I scored the very nice X940 natural finish Vulcan model offered here by a fellow forum member and she is a beauty also. I am awaiting the arrival of my very own Westone Rail Bass(Black) and I have also concluded my search for the other missing pointy model( red dynasty model in great shape. man the Egas is fired up again but it is a fun time in ga tonight. more pics when the weather clears a bit.

Hey Arthur...is that the nice flamie Maple Pro that Olivia's Vintage had mislisted? It's a beaut.

Beautiful axes!

That Maple Pro looks a lot like mine: http://www.rivercityamps.com/electraforum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4368&p=22140&hilit=2267#p22140

Your SN is 61 lower.

Another jewel of a Semi-Hollow acquisition Arthur! Much flamey-er than Ray. Does that give you all Seven Semi's now? These Semi's are certainly the 'bluechips' of the Electra world, they will retain their value through any recession. Salute, Mike.

Depends on how you look at the semi models. I have the Burgundy Pro, Maple Pro,X410 Jazz, Elvin Bishop, and the high end slimline models as well as the Black X420. To have the entire set I still need the older semi Hollowbody models and a X420VS. Thanks for all the comments. i will get some better pics today if the sun shows up. She plays awesome. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

The big seven (as I see it...) are:
Burgundy Pro
Maple Pro
Jazz Strad
Elvin Bishop
X810
X810n
X420 Custom Pro
X420vs Custom Pro Vintage Sunburst

whoops, I guess its the big eight. Not to be a snob, but the bolt neck slimlines just aren't in the same realm as these works of art. That beauty should hold off your egas for a while ( I hope! ) Cheers, Mike.

I believe that Arthur's egas is out of control .............. mine too!

Please - no support groups.

But I guess it's too late for that - we have this Forum don't we?
