These are very nice and awesome players. The active boost gives this Bass a deep rich boom or a bright tangy tweet. This one states it has been re wired so I would ask for pics of the active control cavity but looks like a nice Bass.

Looks like phone camera shots. Why can't sellers post pictures that are in focus? Maybe to cover up flaws?

Some people are honestly clueless about cameras/pictures, but you have a point. One of my Rail basses has some bad chips that I couldn't see in the eBay pics. But that guy had small pictures, this guy at least has them at a decent resolution, and nothing looks suspicious in what is shown. Just looks dirty/used. Whoever's interested should just ask for more/better pics. I learned my lesson on that.

Is that a model number plate on the fretboard just above the TR adjustment slot?

It does say x-640.
