I think that guit has aged rather nicely and still sounds sweet as can be.

You should give serious thought to holding onto it as Corsair stated. Quite a wonderful heirloom as well as a touchstone back to your dad.

Thanks Iceman.

I actually did some serious thinking today.

True this was A guitar that was my dads. But it wasn't his main guitar.

I remembered a guitar today that I TRULY miss. It was a 68 blond vintage
telecaster. That was his main guitar. That guitar I miss dearly and kick myself in the
butt for. But I can get it back so....I'm going to sell these two guitars and put that money
back to get back the tele that I shouldn't have sold years ago. I talked to the guy that
has it the other day. He still has it amazingly. And of course...for a price I can have it back...lol

So I will be posting some more pictures. This is a very nice guitar but there are
a couple flaws that need addressed. Nothing major. But there are some bonuses also.

I will post it in the proper place here in a few minutes.

That Tele sounds awesome! (I have a love affair with Teles). Very cool story behind it and congrats on being able to still track it down and retrieve it. I understand the trade off, I have a guitar I sold burned into my memory that haunts me every day.

Ugh. I wish I had it back.

Definitely post pics of the Tele when you get it back. ;)

Well, kinda - just GAS in general, but still a hilarious read. I have a copy if anyone is interested in mailing it around.....

Yeah; I'd be a starter for that, mate! You'll be wanting a postal addy, then?!

Sure. PM me or just post it here, and I'll send it your way. If someone speaks up, send it on to them when you're ready, or just send it back to me.

- EDIT - I just noticed on the link I posted earlier that there is an e-book version that can be downloaded for $3.00 as well...might be cheaper than mailing it! I'd be happy to send it to you though if you'd like...

So there is! Yep, I think the postage to Europe is a deal breaker there, especially with the e-book at a couple of quid!!
I'll have a crack at downloading it and if that doesn't happen, then I'll PM my postal addy to you!!
