Be watching the forum for an announcement about the shirts later this week - probably on Wednesday!!!

In the meantime, just for fun and goofs, here's a little history on me... I've been designing CDs and DVDs for Dread Zeppelin for many years and below are some samples of my work. I'm sticking this out there because with a group this size, it is possible there are some DZ fans here. I've been very fortunate to be the band's "visual thinktank" (their words) for packaging DZ products for a long time. It is a blast taking the mythology and history of Elvis and Led Zeppelin and developing things for the band. If you don't know their stuff, its great campy fun with "a whole lotta" serious musical ability...

Very cool....... Looking forward to flying the colors of a fantastic line of guitars! It sure is a breath of fresh air to come to this site and look at all of the positive conversations and technical knowledge without the taint of ego to ruin things. Great job on the shirt designs, count me in as a purchaser of your fine product!

Thanks, 280... I've had some fortunate breaks that have made up for my lack of talent or good looks... Its all in the timing, right?

You do have at least 1 Dread Zeppelin fan here. I have 5-6 CD's in my collection. Say hello to TorteElvis for me.

On a side note - is your handle of dr syn taken from the Walt Disney movie "the Scarecrow of Romney Marsh" or is it taken from elsewhere? Another side note- your signature from Rumble Fish, not only is that a great movie but it is my favorite soundtrack to listen to. Stewart Copland did a great job with that music.

Very cool - Tort's a good guy... I talk to him about once a year. The DZ truth really is stranger than fiction. Yes, the Dr Syn handle is inspired by the very thing. Big fan of the original books, the Disney and Hammer adaptations and that Copeland soundtrack is a desert island disc for me... (I hope Ginger and Mary Ann wouldn't get tired of it). I'm a fish-keeper, so that's a good tag for me.
