Hi all,

I've actually been an Electra connoisseur since my college days back around 93ish when I found my first two Electras at a used guitar shop back in Pittsburgh. I had stumbled upon an (unknown to me at the time) X260 Invicta that I became enamored with. So much so that a couple weeks later I went back to the shop after I got my tax return and bought the X930 Vulcan that it was hanging next to. That guitar became the best guitar that I've ever owned (only challenged by my recent acquisition of a Gibson Explorer Thunderhorse).

Alas neither guitar is with me now, I traded the Invicta to a Music Go Round for something I can't even remember what. For a while I though the Invicta that I had was a prototype as the headstock was flat and after I found the old Electra page and I didn't see anything that looked like it. But after really examining it I realized that for some reason a previous owner just didn't like the wave shape and had cut it off! Imagine that! I love that headstock shape!!!

The Vulcan unfortunately was stolen from me with a couple of other pieces of gear several years ago. I still miss it. :bawl: But those two guitars sparked a love affair that lead me to an X710 Outlaw, an X935CS Endorser and a 2207 Slim Acoustic, all pictured below (more on demand, didn't wan this post to get too big, and it already has). Two are in great condition (the Endorser just needs a new pickup switch) but the slimline needs some attention. I'll go over that in the Repair & Restoration section later...

Nice Group there, all three are fairly rare! The Endorser looks great, but I am partial to that model. Welcome aboard, Mike.

 Welcome to the Forums. That is indeed a nice group you have there. I like the Outlaw but I also like all Electra models. That is my favorite Outlaw model. Thanks for the photos.
