I just became a proud parent of my 3rd Electra guitar (1st a super rock. 2nd a pw futura.) An 83 x420 vs! With push/pulls. I saw it sitting at a guitar show near Seattle basically ignored. I saw the wave headstock and my blood pressure shot way up when I saw it was $325. The seller was going to keep it if it didn't sell. It plays better than butter. It smells like feet tho. It been in a case a long time. Anyway if it weren't for this sight and vids on youtube I'd be a lesser person I think. Can't wait for my next one (hopefully an invicta or endorser).

8) Congrats on a super score. Those are indeed very nice players and not so easy to find at that price range anymore. Congrats and hope to see photos soon.

They're a pretty good bunch in here, eh, if my experiences are anything to go by!! I have a Electra XV1 because a bloke in here saw one cheap, thought I might like it and bought it, packed it up and sent it to Australia!!

You blokes rock!!

Congrats, that was a steal for a X420, and bonus that it has the push/pulls! Give us first refusal if you ever want to let it go!

If I were to part with my Electras it'd be the super rock.it sounds great but the neck is too fat and the scale is really small. My pw reminds me of my old jazzmaster (japanese) but looks and sounds better. The 420 feels like a slice of heaven. The guy that sold it to me had a terrible amp for me to test it on butI knew it would sound great based on the youtube vids and the similar pick ups on my futura. I got aplay date with a girl who plays drums in a ramones cover band. I'm gonna play this guitar hard and then soft. This one is very faded. Looks like the red melted away which I really dig
