I just picked up the X710 Outlaw that was on eBay. It's the one with the headstock repair and came with no modules. My main acoustic guitar is a 1977 SLM Alvarez 000 size guitar. I found out a lot of information on the Electras here and decided an Outlaw might be a great guitar for me and then realizing my Alvarez was also an SLM model, I figured it was a sign. I'm mainly a Gibson guy but I always had a thing for the 80s Japanese Fenders and Japanese guitars in general. I'm excited about the Outlaw. I'm a sucker for good upper fret access. I may have paid a bit much at $350 with the headstock repair and no modules but I really wanted an Outlaw. Eventually I at least want to add a phaser module, but I'm more concerned with playability and pickup options on the 5 way switch.

Anywho, just wanted to introduce myself and say Hello! This is a great site!

Sure! I plan to post some photos once it arrives also. I have a felling I'm going to really like it and being beat up gives guitars some mojo.

I wish I knew when it would be here. Seller hasn't sent tracking info yet. I am definitely interested in a Phaser module for this guitar. I'll post some photos as soon as it gets here. Should be before the 5th. Also curious what kind of case fits an Outlaw? I work part time at a music store and I can get cases, just need a starting point of which kind of cases so I don't have to pull every case from the back to check with the Outlaw.

I've used an Ibanez branded TKL with a Les Paul special so I'll start with those. Thank you! I'm still waiting on the Outlaw, but I'm excited to get it and get it all set up/cleaned up etc.

Well, no. Not yet but it's on the way. The seller sent me plenty of info and tracking yesterday. I am understanding as I know how busy life can be. Still excited to get it and it should be here for sure this week!

Welcome aboard. The 5 ways are great with or with out the modules. #5 can give you a Jimmy Page sound on some stuff.
