The Electra Forums

Welcome to the NEW Electra guitar section of the Electra forum. This is an excellent forum where the members freely exchange information on the new guitars and offerings from the Electra company built from 2013 to now. You don't have to be a member to peruse the great information here. But to participate requires membership. We are a pretty laid back group of individuals that share this passion for Electra guitars - New and Vintage. The rules are minimal.

Being a member is a privilege, not a right. But if you ignore a few basic principles you will lose your privilege to be a member.

the DOs!
- This is a site celebrating the vintage Electra guitars from the 70s and 80s, and we also occasionally talk about the NEW recently introduced Electra guitars. We are not affiliated directly with any of those companies.
- Have FUN (but not at the expense of others)
- Be respectful. Keep the atmosphere open, collaborative and light - and generally stay on subject
- Post in the correct areas

the DON'Ts!
- NO SPAMMING! We hate SPAMMERS. Please keep your garbage posts away. This is the fastest way to get BANNED!
- Don't be disrespectful of others! Be mature in your comments. If you have critical or personal opinions about individuals consider keeping them to yourself, or those privately in a PM message or an email between you and that person. Keep the forum out of it.
- No personal attacks, no "flaming", no intentional "stirring the pot" - This is not a pulpit or a soapbox for your personal, religious or political views. We all have them, but this is a site about guitars not those things.
- Don't post anything with a legal restrictions associated with it. We are an independent site composed of volunteers, with no affiliation to any company.
- Don't do anything illegal on this site. We don't want any part of it.

We have volunteer admins, and they are here because of their interest in Electra guitars, long experience with the forum and to keep the forum an excellent place to talk about these and related guitars. They try to keep it a good place for people to enjoy. It is very rare when one has to intervene. If you ever get a message from one it will be for a reason which they will give you and they will tell you what to do about it. Please listen to them. None of these people have big egos. They hate sending out messages more than you do receiving them.

Please enjoy this site and try to treat people as you would like to be treated. There is excellent collective knowledge here, and no better place to get knowledge of Electra and similar guitars from the current and vintage era. This site is independent and not affiliated with the new company, it is ran by volunteers. But guys from the New Electra guitar company will likely frequently this section.
