Hi all, just found this forum.. I have just got hold of an X935 60th anniversary #22 Trans-black in very nice condition. I know next to nothing about these apart from surfing around the usual sites. Can anyone give me some idea of value..I am based in UK. Many thanks

X935 Black Endorser models are some of the higher end of the Electra models. Yours is also special due to the anniversary plate that was used for SLM's anniversary in 1982. Only 500 total guitars and basses have this plate. Other models that had this special plate were the x135, x145, x155 guitars (x135 and x145 in various metal flake paint) and the x635 bass besides the x935 Endorsers. I am also building a sheet that documents the known anniversary plates. I track what model, serial number, owner (if known), condition and where it was seen. Endorsers that have not been modified or beat up tend to bring anywhere from $500.00-900.00 U.S. funds. They are great players.

Did you find it in the UK? There's not a lot of Electra's on that side of the pond.

Recently there were two on Craigslist I believe, $350 to $500. Anniversary's are the rare birds. One just sold on Ebay for $650.
