- Models
Bolt neck LP copy with Jacaranda Rosewood top and gold hardware. Different variations of this guitar may exist- earlier versions had open-book 'lawsuit' style headstocks, around 75 or 76 all LP models transitioned and by 77 all had wave style headstocks.
Dating of these models is uncertain except by comparing headstock and hardware details to known examples.

Variations do indeed exist. I have a 2256 with a Round-E logo, and it is nearly identical in detail to a Ventura LP, Ventura being a known Matsumoku brand. My research points to the idea that the slant-italic Electra logo (that really looks like a Gibson logo) was probably Fujigen, and certainly Hoshino. If all the above is true (if, if) then we have examples of two variations on the same LP model made at different factories. And that makes sense too, because the round-E logo LP's feel very different from the slant-logo LP's.
