at first i thought my guitar was an x310 cuz it was black and in the gallery section, the black one was an x310. But when i looked closer in noticed the headstock was different and on the body the paint job around the rim was different too. Does that matter? The headstock is the gibson style, GIB, except without the paint around the border. The paint on the Body is a thick line then three thin ones. Does any of that matter? or is black is black is x310? Ill try to get a picture up soon

I think if it's black and has four knobs in a line (and no MPC module slots in back) then it's an X310. Over the years there were definitely trim changes in the Electra LP's, I see variations in headstock, binding, fret markers and name font. Unfortunately I don't know these models well enough to help you tell what year yours is from, but it seems pretty definitely an X310.

Pictures would be great, we'd love to see your axe!

my mistake, the X310 is indeed an MPC guitar. Looks like that's the one!
