Sound is pretty good, simple: two volume (one for each element) onde hi/low, so very varied sound options. Light in weight and easy to play (makes my super headless feel a lot harder). Some say it's hard to play it sitting down, I don't. I use it for practice and backup, or if a gig seems to rough to risk the SH :-)
In all: get one!

Great! Not the one on Ebay (that still has 12 hours to go)... so where did you find it?

congrats, the Quantum is an awesome bass, really nicely balanced and great sound.

I got the bass from ebay.co.uk
I will post a seperate thread for the Quantum when it arrives.


Super Headless FS
Also at the moment I am in touch with another person who also owns a SH FS in original condition, oh and I am also in touch with Status-Graphite to find out about my Pickups that came with my SH FS, more on this soon I hope.

I read somewhere that Status-Graphite and the late Sid Poole designed and made the new Westone's
