I never really posted any pics of the one I currently have... it's much better shap than the previous one, both visually, and hardware wise.

in the first pic, you can see where I added a thumb rest. this made a world of difference for me.... I love it....

What a beauty!

What kind of thumb rest did you use? Where'd you get it?

the thumbrest is a fender style one. it was just a used one that a local shop had in their parts bin :D

I wanted to make a wood one, but this one, being black, blends in nicely with the pick guard, like it was always meant to be there.....

I got the hipshot bridge today, and compared it to a spare outlaw one I have. holes line up perfectly. I also got a chance to look at a regular Ric bass, and I have to say, that Uncle Matt did a spot on job of copying it. exact same mounting pattern, and look of the parts. I've seen other Ric bridge copies, and they were not any where as good as the Mats. ones.

Once I get the bridge on I'm gonna take some pics, and send them along to Hipshot too, so they can add the Outlaw to the list of "Compatibles" :)

excellent! who would have thought it, copies of Rickenbacker shapes...
