This is an 83 Electra Phoenix x189 (or maybe x185). This is the only color this pale gold was used- like a champagne gold, very pretty. 83 was the first appearance of the H-S-H Phoenixes, and they have a nice feeling of 'soul' that's a little different from the 84 and later ones. Note the 83's have a rounded single pickup ring instead of the rectangular ones used later.

This one has an aftermarket locking nut added (I know, I did the same back in 84) and I think it's the original tekglide (vintage style) bridge. FWIW< some people feel this early bridge has better sustain than the later post-mounted bendmasters.

The only thing odd about his one is the lack of a serial number- my suspicion is that is was sanded off, the finish looks jsut a little odd there.
