I purchased what was then called a LTD ED. Raider Bass. It was my fav bass. I no longer have one,...any info on these and maybe where I could find one would be appreciated!! Thanks!!!!

Raider basses show up on ebay a couple times a year- not real often, but sometimes. Be sure to check UK auctions, not just US, as these models were a little more common over there.

I assume the Limited edition meant a special finish, like one of the crackle finishes maybe?

As a matter of fact it did have a special gold and red metallic finish !! Thanks for the info!!!

Yeah mine was like that except it was gold n red ,.....I think my inlays where different,.......how do you like the Raider?

yeah, they either came with the triangle or regular dot inlays.

I love the look of it, but it's not very comfortable for me to play because of the strap pin location in the neck plate. (fat guy and strap pin location on back of neck = hard to play :) )

I have decided to make my own raider style bass to my specs,.....going to use humbuckers and swamp ash,....havent decided on emgs. bartolinis, or mecs for the pick ups yet. 24 fret fretless neck 5 string ,...any suggestions???? 8)
