Hello all, just discovered this site while searching for pickguard for my 2245. It was perfect unitl my son's friend somehow cracked mine. Well may just try to glue it first.
I've read through many of the posts, and found there is life for the old electra's!.
I purchased mine in 1974 brand new, for $279, I still have the hanging tag and life time warranty card somewhere. A Gibson Les Paul Standard was about $650 at that time. Anyway nice to see all the collectors out there, and those that know, these are very fine guitars for the price.
