electronics need a serous cleaning or replacement (most likely).
the neck had a really good bow to it. bridge saddles weere adjusted all the way down. not really playable...

I took the neck off for the first time in 30+ years. still had the shavings from the drilling when first assembled! after a small shim in the neck, and some major cranking on the truss rod, she's finally playable. and the best part, it's a short scale. 30".

I got it mostly to compare to my early electra pbass (round E logo) because there were no pbass copies in the known Electra catalogs...

this PCM Jazz has the exact same tuning pegs, headstock shape, and construction, but nothing else matches up.

the PCM body is very thin, like the 60s Guyatone and Teiscos. same red sunburst color too....

the dot inlays on the PCM neck are plain silver/white looking. the pbass ones are at least MOP looking.
