Sweet, I saw one on ebay a ways back and no one even bid on it. I think it was a buy it know for maybe 150 (i think) I was really surprised. Great looking basses.

dang, that would have been a great buy.

recently the RIC copies have been rivalling the Outlaw MPC bass prices.

usually 400-500 for the bolt necks, and 400-1000 for the neck thrus....

I don't have the bolt on at my house yet. a friend in Denver picked it up for me.... will get it sometime....

the neck through one sounds good, but I redid all the electronics, keeping the original pickups. the output jacks were bad, and the pots were questionable so I put all new in.

I put in new CTS pots, and a new pup selector switch, along with a replacement ric-o-sound double output jack assembly. and new knobs. the pups registered same resistance as RIC pups of the era. It's a very good copy of the '74-'75 4001. even duplicated the 33.25" scale neck.....

I put brand new flatwounds on it too, which have taken me a bit to get used to, but now I actually like the feel of it better than my MPC bass...
