Well I now have the last piece of my X610 the neck pickup (thanks mcbrat), so I took apart the bass only to find that the leads going to the rest of the electronics is not conected at all. Now I need to know where to hook them as well as the neck pickup. I prined off the MPC switch drawing from Rivercity, but none of the contacts are in the same place as mine. So can anyone tell me where to hook the parts up?

I don't think I'm the best one to answer this question, but you'll probably get a much more accurate response if you post a picture of the electronics so people can troubleshoot. Shouldn't be too hard from there!

I would but my digital's camara does not work, but it just does not show any detail. Honestly I only have the P-bass pickup still hooked to it plus the ground, red and blue jumpers.

these pictures aren't detailed enough....

I couldn't get the 5-way out of the hole to get better shots.... and I'm not sure which wires go to the pups yet... need to do more dis-assembly to get the proper shots....

Guys I still really need help on hooking up this rotary switch. I've got a cool bass here that I can't play. Can some one please hook a brother up and show me where the pickups and switch wires hook on the rotary switch?

most likely it's the same as on an MPC guitar- here's the schematic for that:

not easy to read, but hopefully this will help. I wish I had a guitar with a 5-way to help better!
