I'd like to invite everyone to begin posting pics of their guitars in the main Electra site-

Registered members can upload pictures here:

http://www.rivercityamps.com/electraforum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=4141

Then go to the index of models page here and click on your model:

http://www.rivercityamps.com/electrapage/static.php?page=index_of_models

when you click to the specific model you'll notice there's a form at the bottem for adding comments, blog-style, including uploading and posting pictures. If you need help, PM me and I'll help.

THe only thing you can't do is go back and edit (or delete) your comment. SO if you mess up, jsut do it over again. I'll see your duplicates and delete them. :)

Note that I'm still working on the pages for the Phoenix/Spectrum and pointy models, sorry Dynasty lovers! But hey, PM me to complain and I'll make sure your model gets up next.

See what this does though- it means new pictures can get posted right away without having to wait for slow admins like me to get around to it.

Here's a really great example. We had no reference photos of this model, but Rusty posted some great ones!

RCSBlues stepped up to the plate with some wonderful shots of his X330 and X340. What a great addition to teh model reference! I hope this inspires everybody to get their pictures added.

note that the comments cant be edited pnce they're posted, so if you goof one up just post another and leave me a note to delete the bad ones.

The site is already using ones I used to sell the guitars on eBay and some I sent in a while ago. For example the collage of the X155 is the first one I ever owned. Cheers!

Sending photos of my '85 Spectrum LX in what I'm told is Silverstone? Its a black metallic look thats green in the light. I've had the thing for like 10 years or possibly more as a birthday gift but never really played it until recently. The only change from what I presume is the original version, besides what few dings it has, is the knobs. It was missing two knobs which I'm trying to replace but for now I have some chrome ones on there.

You're so right! I'm almost doen building the pages and the pointy ones are the last to go in. (maybe because they're my favorites) XV3 Dynastys are fantastic!

So... I'll try to build those tonight and I'll PM you when it's ready.

(we thank you for your patience)

Been some time since I looked at the site and woola! New look and new stuff. Pretty keen!

I tacked some shots on the X175JB and a link to my gallery.

http://www.rivercityamps.com/electrapage/comments.php?y=08&m=01&entry=entry080123-112844

The guitar was purchased in 1983...with grant money I was to use for school...oh well. Worked out anyway! Stock pick-ups were replaced with Lace Sensors and the saddles are now graphtec (stock in the photos). Other than that and replacing the corroded nasty screws here and there the rest is stock. I have noticed fret wear with the last change of strings so that may be my next step.

Thanks for all the work and all the good stuff on the site!
