Hey everyone... You may remember the X-140 project that first brought me to this board, you may not.. Anyway, I've been going through all my guitars, giving them a good setup and playing them for a few days, just to sorta.. see what I want to keep I guess.. The X-140 is just not my thing... To F*nd*r Str*t*c*st*r like for my tastes..

Here's what I've got:

a natural finish X140, SN: 102132
It was TRASHED when I got it, missing the nut, most of the allen screws for the bridge, the electronics didn't work at all, the finish on the neck and the body was TRASHED big time, someone had done a little Jimi Hendrix on the headstock, and drawn a frankenstein monster on the back. I totally stripped it down, got new screws for the bridge, installed a black graphite nut. I sanded the burn off the headstock, and sanded all the finish on the neck down to 0000 steel wool. The neck was coated with Tung oil, steel wool back to almost bare wood, repeat 12 times or so. It looks unfininshed, is protected from the elements, and feels OH SO GOOD in your hand. The frets have a lot of life left. Origonal tuners, which have been overhauled and work very well. I did up the body in a french polish, which I have subsequently stripped off and re-done in the same fashion as the neck. The grain is nice and matching across all peices of the body. Again, it almost looks unfinished, but is well protected from the elements. It has the stock pickups. The 3-way and mini toggle have been replaced with a gold 3-way switch and tiny bat style mini toggle. I also changed the wiring a little bit on this to get some more useable sounds. The 3-way selects Neck / both[in paralell] / bridge. The mini-toggle switches in the middle pickup - in series - for a output boost and some extra chunk whenever you need it. Overall, it looks really very nice, and plays like a dream.. I just can NOT get in to single coil strat type pickups.. Gimmie a p-90 though...

Here's what I want:

Preferably an Electra Phoenix series with dual humbuckers and a fixed bridge. I'd settle for at least a bridge humbucker, and I'd also settle for a strat type tremelo. Condition is not to important, although it must have no major damage. Prefer natural or sunburst finish.

Models I'd prefer
x110
x130
x135
X149 - this would be #1 choice
x150
x155
x165

I'm interested in any Electra or Aria Pro II offers, though.

And if the trade is right, I could kick down some $$ if necessary.

Thanks all!

Sorry about the cruddy pictures, I've got a camera that's only decent in daylight. I'll try to replace them with some better pics ASAP

And it could use a cleaning, esp. the pickguard. And I forgot to mention, the pickguard cracked near the output jack, it's been repaired but is visible in real life.

I might have something you'd like, not that I'm looking for another X140. That is a nice guitar and one of the best bodies of the Electra Phoenixes imho.

Don't wait if you get another offer, but PM me and I'll try to see what I can do. I am way behind in shipping stuff to peeps, but would be happy to help if I can.

The only Electra Phoenixes H-H with hardtail bridge would be an X130, X135, X149 or X150. However, any of the others can be setup so that their trem bridge is flush against the body which is pretty similar.

Are those tuners original?

I assume they are, as I never replaced them and I doubt the guy I got it from did... Plus there are no extra holes, and there is only the outline of the current tuners when you take them off.
