This has been posted before on these forums if you search for it, but here they are in convenient form on the Electra page.

This is the closest thing we have to a 1981 catalog. Later pricelists were just lists of prices, but this one actually has images and sales text.

First appearance of the Phoenix, as well as the Invicta/Ultima/Powered WQ/Workingman family.

The Ultima doesn't mention or show the coil tap feature that is present on my Ultima.

There are some much more specific sales materials that deal with the Ultima, I'll see about getting them scanned and online. The pics on the 81 pricelist are really early and incorrect in several ways, very possibly pre-production photos.

How much are these prices when adjusted to 2008 dollars? I had read that electras were "student priced" and thus a great deal when they were new but I doubt that I could've afforded these if I were around at that time. (well, I was around but I was in 2nd grade) :)

Also, are there any quality/reasonably priced non fender/gibson guitars or basses that are modern equivalents to the electras?
