I wanted to know if anyone had measurements for the knobs or if anyone has them.
I can get them made for free, but if originals are availiable at a store, it'd be nice.

have a look here; they look to be pretty standard speed knobs , really!

Stewmac?

Oh, and good catch, man - this deserves to be resurrected, eh!! :D

Thanks, but I knew what they looked like. (Not to sound sarcastic or anything)
But, I suppose I can find some speed knobs to replace my current aged strat knobs.
I did go to Guitar Center, but they only had Gibson knobs, which don't fit on mine, I've tried.

But yeah, I agree, it's worth resurrecting.

Actualy Corsair was right to direct you to Stewart Macdonald (stewmac.com). Gibson knobs have a different diameter shaft than your X140. Stewmac has what they call coarse spline knobs that fit and are very close in appearance.

Measurement would be difficult as you would have to measure not just the size of the hole for the shaft but also them number, shape and size of the fluting for the splines.

Actually, we measured the current knobs and using references from this site, we were able to get blueprints for something very close, my dad will be getting the brass stock cut today at work.
But I may order some from stewmac, depending.
(I honestly looked right over that in Corsair's post..)

But, the vintage strat knobs can't go to waste, so I'll have to put them on my Fender.

No worries, man - just glad I can even roughly help! Lost knobs are a bugger: my X195 had none and I really wanted the tapered ones which are as rare as chickens' lips - on on ebay at the minute for £5(!) - so count myself lucky that the Westone Spares came up with some at realistic prices!!
Very cool about your father making some up from brass - I looked at turning my own up but I'm not that clever with a lathe; give us a look when they're done, won't you?! :D

Well, my dad works at the machine shop at Black And Decker/Dewalt's Headquarters, so he's got everything he needs and we get it free.
I'll be sure to show you guys.
