Hello

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good set of pots to replace the Electra electronics in an X220 LP? To get to a Gibson style set up. One Volume and one tone knob per pickup.

long or short pots?

thanks

I'd say go to http://www.stewmac.com
I think the original pot is a 250, but I can't be certain.

I guess I should be more clear. I'm looking to change the pots in my X220 to a standard LP style set up. With a volume and a tone knob for each pickup. I find the stock setup to be too muddy. Also should the pots be short or long style? Thanks again.

Oh, gotcha.
Still, check Stewmac.

Anyhoo, go with 500k pots, and I'd say long shaft to be safe.
But, what knobs are you using, LP style?

I mean, I'm no fan of doing this to a nice guitar, but you never know. :D
