After looking around on the Fender site I found the guitar my 2255WC was copied after. A 72' Telecaster Thinline with ash body natural finish, maple fret board, '70s hard-tail strings-through-body strat bridges and dual humbucking pickups. The Fender and the Electra look like twins. I thought it sounded fine at the house but when I jammed with some friends and cranked up the amp, this thing sounds great. If you ever get the chance to play one, please do it. Its just as smooth as my MPC. For 30 year old guitars, these sound good.
