SG Copy Serial Number?

I have what I believe to be a 1972 Electra SG copy almost identical to this one http://www.rivercityamps.com/electrapage/comments.php?y=07&m=10&entry=entry071006-034244 The only difference being that my tuners seem to be original, and the logo is different.
I cannot find the serial number on this guitar! Not on the headstock, and nowhere else in plain sight! Short of opening it up, where in the world could I find it?
I can post pics if there's interest...

Definitely post pics, could be a PCM.
Weird that there isn't a serial number though.
Could be kinda like that LP Junior copy that showed up.

First of all, what's a PCM?
Well...I was gonna post pics, but my camera died. Grr

Well, Electra was sold in the US by two companies owned by brothers.
SLM (Saint Louis Music) distributed the majority, almost all, of the guitars under the Electra name, ones seen in catalogs, etc.
PCM (Pacific Coast Music) distributed in much smaller quantities, with a logo that was a slightly stylized "Electra" name on a white plate on the headstock.
