Interesting. The laminate neck is similar to what they are doing on the "Budget" priced Martin acoustic guitars these days. Of course Martin also has some slick marketing people come up with their revolutionary "High Pressure Laminate" spin to get you to spend $800 for their Martin rather than the same amount for a really nice solid wood Cort, Alvarez, or Carvin Cobalt!

But anyways, this guitar looks like it is not much better quality than a Teisco or Delray so I'd probably pass unless you were a collector and just HAD to have it because it says "Electra" on the headstock!
