Looks like a really nice Endorser X935 on the "bay". Up to $177 as I type. Sure it will go up.

This very Guitar (S/N #0160 60th anniversary) was the subject of this earlier Forum Topic:

viewtopic.php?f=35&t=3844

Was purchased with 'Best Offer', now that same auction winner is listing it again.

Im not sure what the deal was with this guitar..The buyer contacted me originally with nothing but praise for the the guitar -he was blown away by the quality-he told me he had purchased it for a friend....

Two weeks later he lists it on the 'Bay and takes a bath on the sale.........

Puzzling

Sounds like he purchased it for a significant other and they split up. He may not take a bath as I am sure the price will go up.

well... he certainly didn't do very well on his resale.... but i don't feel sorry for him... i don't know how many times i have bid on something at significantly more than what the final sale price turned out to be, but was shut out because the seller wouldn't sell outside the confines of the continental US... and what really leaves me scratching my head is that so many items will fetch significantly more money when sold abroad... go figure

I'm with Leia; why list it to sell and then limit your potential buyers? The amount of stuff that I would've bid on but the seller was adamant about the "Inside the CONUS" requirement...., and while loads of forumers have offered help by being a middleman, that's a privilege I'll use when my personal Holy Grail turns up!! :D

The reason why so many sellers refuse to ship overseas is the fact that several of the shipping methods (like the USPS) do not provide proof of delivery on International packages-they prove that you SHIPPED an item, but there is no tracking outside the US...

All the buyer has to do is file a claim with Paypal and state that they never recieved the item-your account automatically gets a HOLD put on it for the value of the claim. If you cannot prove that the buyer actually recieved the item, even if you can prove you shipped it, you are subject to chargeback and Paypal will refund the buyers funds everytime...

Sellers cant be bothered with the risk or hassle

Stuff like that is the exact reason I refuse to use E-Bay.
Yes, I miss plenty of deals, but Craigslist is all I need.
Scammers are much easier to deal with than E-Bay. :P

It's Baaaack.... :

http://cgi.ebay.com/ELECTRA-X935-vintag ... 7C294%3A50

S/N 0160 Blackburst X935. Listed as 40th anniversary, but we all know it's the 60th Anniversary. Not sure why this guitar is having such a tough time finding a home, this will be it's third listing in about six months.
