This is another one of those one and a half cutaway Electras that doesn't have the scooped out heel. The guitar on this auction looks just like the one (I think incorrectly...) identified as a X935 on the 'old' Electra site:

http://www.rivercityamps.com/electra/endorser.php

The things I see different (and less desirable in MHO) are; lack of scooped heel, push/pull pots, aluminum covers on rear and is appointed with the bigger dots and peacesign logo (which we have seen on Dave G's X935's, but his were scooped, had printed model/serial number plates with the transblack paintjob). Also it is a solid Black, not burst or transblack. I'm not an ex-employee or anything, so who knows, maybe these were sold as X935's, but they surely are not the more accepted configuration for these flagship instruments.

I would assume they play pretty nice though, the heel while not scooped, is less bulky than a LP and the belly cut alone would make them more comfortable. Seller admits that the electronics arn't 100% and Bridge pickup has been changed, and his starting price reflects that I think. Three day auction, must be in a hurry! Reasonable shipping fee and comes with a decent case... could be a good deal for somebody. Thats my two cents, Mike.

This guitar turned out to be an Omega x210 that has been modified to a standard LP configuration with a Duncan in the Bridge position. The guitar is in VERY good condition, with just a minimal amount of small pick marks... Even though its not a x935, Im still quite satisified with the guitar...heck the case is worth more than the bid on the guitar !

An interesting note (and the reason I know its an x210 is that this is the first Electra (remember I own some 75 or so Electras) that has the model number on top of the serial number (under the laquer). the model number is put on the same way as the serial number. Most of my other Electras have the silver sticker with a hand written model number

So you picked up that bad boy Dave? Congrats. Would love to see a photo of the back of the headstock showing the model and serial number (as well as the balance of your fine collection sometime!). Cheers, Mike.
