So, I took apart my Workingman (partially).
I had thought that it used Magnaflux pickups, but to my surprise, the pickups are stamped MMK 45.
Was I wrong or does my Workingman have some fluke in production?
Plus, I've heard good things on MMK 45s, if someone can explain them it'd be nice.

Magnaflux is one of a few different marketing names that were used for MMK45's. So yours is original and normal. Here is a thread on the subject at the Matsomuko page:
