Told it's an '84. Serial number 4060770.

Two dings, one on the rear wing (not through the finish), one on the beveled edge above the pickup (both small, less than a cm). Some finish swirls above the pickup and on the back, like any used guitar.

$250+ shipping from Austin TX, local pickup welcome.

Apparently user sami made a thread on several months back. I've dropped the price a little since then. I throw it up on CL once a month, see if there's any interest. There generally isn't, but I enjoy playing it, so I'm not heartbroken about still having it.

I'd go for trades on a Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet + cash or Bass-drive Mosfet + cash, or one of the Pheonix basses (X6xx) if you've one in black.

If I wasn't saving for a franken P-Bass I'd go for this.
Although I'd urge you to keep it, 'cause these are hard to find.

Although, can you calculate shipping to Maryland?

Looks like UPS wants $30 to 21275 (It's a Baltimore zip, anyway).

If you think they're hard to find, try selling. It's a great playing and sounding bass; I just had the (mis?)fortune of getting another bass the same week, and it was just so much more right for me that the Futura fell by the wayside.

If you only knew just how painful it was to sell my Kamico Archtop.
Many offers, no-shows, low-ballers asking 20 bucks, a double-neck I wanted sooo bad (which no one else but me wanted...), people telling me I was asking too much, and luckily only one scammer. Probably more crud than that, but that's the obvious memorable stuff.
Took a good month, but finally got it gone and traded for a Workingman. :D

The shipping isn't as bad as I though it would be. If I get the proper cash and it doesn't sell I'll contact oyu with my nifo. :D

Job situation changed, so I'm willing to trade now for a few more things now, for something that'll get some use.

Willing to trade for a 4 string bass with a nut that is 1.6" at the nut, minimum, and fretted. Wider than 1.6" (40mm) preferred, i.e. 1 & 5/8ths or 1 & 11/16ths, or even 1 & 3/4" Prefer darker colors, like black or walnut or what have you. Amber/gold/cherry bursts are right out.

Small bass cabinet (2x10, 1x12, no bigger than 1x15).

Also wouldn't mind a guitar; no Floyds and would prefer no trem. Again, prefer the darker colors. A baritone would be sweet, but lemme know whatcha got.

Rackable bass preamp; prefer tube/hybrid.

I have a 2000 Electron blue fender Standard "Hybrid" P-bass (Mexican assembly w/ some American parts)..but it's not up for it, it's my first, and only, at this point, working bass.
But I'll see what else I got, maybe a guitar I can pull out of somewhere, I dunno.

At this point I need to save up for a car and driving school, so I don't know if I can put aside cash for this bass.
Keep me updated on whether or not it sells.

Oh, yeah, this is still available, if anyone's interested.

I'd be pleased as punch (...who says that anymore?) if you wanted to trade a PODxt Pro for it.

8) 8) Well this one has a new home now with the mortarman. I was amazed at how good this thing plays and sounds(should have known it would be great since it is an electra). Slim fast neck, great tone range on the pickup and overall a very nice comfortable shape with easy access to play. Thanks again I know you will miss this beauty.
