I'm actually kind of happy I didn't sell it
truth be told, I never owned a semi-hollow until last year (have played many over the years), I've been using the Ibby for practice and I don't know why I waited so long to get one for myself
now I'm looking at getting another :)
I've sold a couple cars, and think another is as good as gone so I'll have a bit of spare cash
the family at this point, SZ is going bye bye tomorrow

Of course it's your choice, but I thought most everyone liked Ibanez guitars; they have several distinct models, ranging in the affordable to the more expensive ones, especially the Steve Vai and Joe Satriani models; I would love to have George Benson Ibanez;

I am the proud original owner of an Ibanez Musician MC300 vintage 1978 that I really enjoy; it is a real player;

Mine is similar to the MC350 on the right in this picture with the gold tuners; it is the same blond color as the middle guitar which I think is the MC500.

I did change the strings to .009 -.042 strings some time back which really improved the sound. I had been using .010 - .046 on it for years and didn't enjoy it as much; at the time it just didn't have the right feel or playing combination to be a favorite; remarkably the string gauge change cleared up a dead spot at the 12th fret on the D string, with no bridge saddle adjustment. Now I play it all the time and have even pulled it out from under the bed where it was almost forgotten. It has great sustain and action with 24 frets for upper register access, although it is VERY heavy; very beautiful and has an Alembic look.

Thanks,
RCSBlues :oops: :up:

To be perfectly honest, I don't know.
I can't remember what it was, but something made me forever hate Ibanez....
And Gibson.
In terms of guitars I'm totally messed up.
I don't like sunbursts, or tortoise shell anything.
I would rather own half of a Squier before I even touch a Les Paul.
I actually like Peavey. LOVE, in fact.
