Gene was kind enough to bring his by (Electra MPC).
I am going to check it over for him and try to clean it up.
I think I can get the old tape off.
I recently picked up a Vulcan MPC and an Outlaw MPC with cases.
The Outlaw came with 2 modules and when I looked in the case there were 2 more modules in their original box!
It was like it had been in storage for a long time (it didn't smell very good :-P).
A Workingman also showed up at a local music store and I was able to acquire that one too.
What I am building for the Nashville NAMM show are more modern versions of the Electras.
I would like to add 1 vintage reissue model a year when I get things rolling.
The MPC's will take the longest to develop.

58 electrics, 1 acoustic, and 4 basses here. 0 parents, at least not in my house. Grumpy roommate though that almost counts as a parentel unit. :D

I was at the Winter NAMM show (I went as a guest). I heard after the show that "someone" stopped by the booth and said he was going to build Electra guitars! I guess it's true.

I am with you on this, not that I would mind if its true. Remeber the Electra brand name, which never had the catche of some other brands was erroded by the student model aspect ot the Crate Electras. I don't see someone paying good money for the brand. As for the designs, a few small esthetic differences and you could use them without much fear of an infringment suit.

I had a chance to talk to Ben the other day about some things other than Electras but they did come up.

I gotta say as soon as ALL the Ts and ALL the Is are crossed and dotted, we will have new Electra branded guitars soon after that. Sometimes the smallest detail can cause a stop in progress. :x :evil:

Wish I could share details but not my place nor would I wanna further spoil any suprises. :wink:

Going over to Tampa tomorrow to pickup my MPC LP and a sweet Hamer T51(Tele) Ben has refurbished for me. I will get to play my MPC with a module in it for the first time since I bought the guitar in December '82. :o Ben has some for his guitars. I've never found a module to pickup or had the money when I DID see one. I think I will look for an Overdrive module for my first. Guess I best get to hunting. :oops: :P

ALSO NEWS COMING ON THE ELECTRA FRONT I'M TOLD... :blush:
