Description:
Here I have for sale a Kay Speed Demon I electric guitar (see above for specs). The only reason I am selling is due to the fact that I just recently bought a three-pickup model of this same guitar. This guitar is a great vintage axe. It still plays very very well and the electronics work absoultely fine. There is no scratching, excess feedback, or jack issues. The pickup still has a decent output despite its age. The guitar can also be played acoustically, it's that loud unplugged. It would be a wonderful slide guitar if any of you are bottle-neck players (that's what I used it for). I'm only selling it for $350, which is what I have in it. I'm just trying to make my money back, I'm not trying to make a profit. All cosmetic issues are very minor and expected of a guitar of this age. It's not in mint condition, but it is in a lot better shape than most old Kays that I have seen (especially electronically).

I have this guitar posted for sale at a few other locations as well (not eBay as of yet). If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I will gladly answer any/all questions. Please send me a PM if you are interested in making the purchase. Money Order or PayPal.

I don't have the cash or capacity to buy this, but it looks quite nice!

The headstock seems too modern on the guitar, it looks like it belongs in the 80's while the rest of the instrument is from the 50's....Kay's logo looks kinda modern too.

Looks original to me and that style is well documented from the late 50's. What's the connection to Electra though?

I believe you can post whatever you have, but many people don't sell other stuff.
We've sometimes seen other brands though.
