Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums and I'm looking for some help with my Phoenix, the bridge was replaced some time ago. I would like to replace it with OME if I can but if not I need a suggestion as to a replacement bridge. ( the one that was installed is to narrow ) Does anyone know where I can get a brass OME bridge. Any help would be great.
Thanks Jim.
My Phoenix is a 1982 pearl white Model X155

Mate, we don't give advice until we've seen the guitar... lots of pics of the guitar.... Seriously though, we'd love to see it; I can't help you with the bridge as my X195 has a trem and the X155 doesn't, but one of the guys will be along in a minute with the appropriate info, I'm sure!! :)

Ahh - well, what I do is upload my pix to one of the many imaging sites - photobucket, Imageshack etc, and then copy and paste the .img code that they give you into the post, or alternatively, have a look here...

Well, I still haven't got the hang of posting pictures but if you are really interested here is a link to a slide show on photobucket of my guitar, Thanks for your help and time.http://s647.photobucket.com/albums/uu19 ... =slideshow
I bought this guitar new back in 1981/82 and played it for two years. I had a bit of a falling out with my band mates and stormed out after a show in Pittsburge PA. I quite playing for a while. Just this past month while visiting some family back where I grew up my wife urged me to look up some of my old friends and put the past to rest and believe it or not the other guitarist from the band had saved my guitar all these years. He changed out the bridge which is two small so now that I have it back I would like to replace it with the correct bridge or at least one that is a correct size. Sorry for the long story. Jim.

Nice! Anyway, as far as posting, it's incredibly easy with Photobucket. You'll see a box that says "Share this image." It will have 4 addresses in little boxes labeled:

Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code

Highlight everything in the box labeled "IMG Code", right click on it, hit "copy" and then come here, right click again, and hit "paste"

It's a 73. 70-72 only came in white or blue with the alternate colored stripe. Unfortunately, it's not mine; it's just inspiration for my 73 Formula's resto...

Gee, that's nice!! I certainly hope you find an OEM bridge or even just a bridge with the right measurements.

You got your guitar back after all that time..??? Man, I once had a Highschool friends 60's ES125 (don't get excited, it was actually a pretty lame instrument) for SEVEN years! I was kind of hoping he had forgotten about it, but when he asked about it, I of course got it to him, but I bet we all know people who would have sold or 'lost' it! You've got an honest buddy there, and the X155's are darn cool guitars as the army of Phoenix's go. Good story, and good luck.

Hello All, I just got that exact Model Guitar (X-155) Yesterday Here in Calif, San Jose area, and Mine is All Stock but is in worse condition.. w/ lots of shoddy Stickers.... Mine was only Missing the Toggle Tip knob and one Notched speed knob. Well now it's missing two knobs as one of the three was totally broken. Also I had the missing toggle tip from another guitar (Aria pro II) and it fit and looks exactly like the original. So now I'm hunting for a Couple of speed knobs. I'll post a Couple Before and After photos soon.. BTW That T.A is Bitchin' .... Love that Color (my Fave) A friend here in Sacto, Calif has a '73 Also w/ a 455 & Munice 4 Spd and man do I miss Driving that one.. Goodtimes Years ago. So anyone here have a couple of Notched Black Speed knobs they'd like too Let Loose w/ ...? Thx.
