Hey guys I posted about this a while back and ended up not selling it to the local shop...I decided to keep it...then sell it ...then keep it...and now we are back to selling it. I definitely want someone who will appreciate it to get it. So that is why I am here...it has the Phase Shifter and Overdrive modules and the original hardshell case. I do have a guy I met through the forum who wants to buy it but he hasn't been able to come up with the money. I would love for him to get it, but I need to sell it soon as I need the money. I am asking $500 plus shipping. Let me know if you are interested and I will email you some pics.Image

Here's a link about picture hosting:

viewtopic.php?f=39&t=4141

You could use just about any hosting site, although if the service 'cleans up' old files the links could stop working. I like to have the forum host the pics, my theory being if the website still exists the links will still work. Once you have them hosted, you just click the 'Img' button at the top of the posting window, which will insert two commands into the text, and you paste the url in between those two commands.

$500 is reasonable considering the deluxe case, modules and looks pretty clean from the small CraigsList photo to me. I think the market is a little depressed right now. Wondering if that Vintage Guitar Magazine write up will spur sales a little bit? Still waiting to see. Again, when you see the quality of these guitars, then see standard PRS's going for $1800 used, it makes me wonder. As far as I'm concerned, I like these guitars being reasonable, lets keep it our little secret.

Holy Moly, those are gigantic pictures!! I have to reduce my 6 mega pixel photos to about a third to get them to fit 'nicely' on a webpage (usually around 200k jpg file when done), there should be some utility on your computer that you can use for reduction. Not poking fun at you, it's no treat to sit there renaming and resizing pictures, and I've never seen a Module so up close... even in person!

As JMM has noted, the market is a little soft right now, but she looks real clean and whomever picks it up should be happy. All these set neck Electras are sleepers, especially if you compare them to USA made PRS's... about one fifth the price, 30 year old wood, comfortable scooped out heal, sophisticated electronics, and people always ask about them at the gig because they've never seen or heard one... Which would you rather own!! Good luck man.

:lol:

I'm not poking fun either, but I don't care who you are - that was funny.

I just use Paint (on a PC with windows) to resize images. From the menu go Image -> Stretch/Skew, and in the 'stretch' options, change the 100% on horizontal and vertical to about 20 - 40% each. Make sure the numbers are equal horiz. and vert. to keep the ratio the same and the picture crisp. Save as a .jpg, and your all set. Just make sure to save as a different file name if you want to retain the large high res original!

Cheers!

About 11 years ago when I was lucky enough to afford it I had decided that if I ever bought another guitar it would have to be a PRS;

I kept looking for the right one and in 1998 I found this new 1997 model Custom 24 - 10 top in Dallas TX; first guitar I ever played with light gauge .009 - .042 strings but I got used to them; the first time I changed the strings I had to have someone show me how with the PRS locking tuners.

It is a really good guitar that I will keep right along with my Electras;

I think you should keep your Vulcan.
