It's an Aria Pro RS Knight Warrior project!

Image

Aria Pro guitars ae close cousins to later Electras, both made byMatsumoku and both often with MMK pickups. This project is rough but promising- neck and body are solid, it needs hardware. Included also is an MMk pickup, two original RS single coils, and the remains of the original wiring harness. If you dig double-cutaway guitars, this will reward you with a slinky neck and tone that all Electra fans love.

Yet another crazy guitar project for an ElectraFest winner.

Looks like a FLoyd Smith style rout.

I've been looking closer at the body, and it seems to be ash. I'm surprised, I would have expected maple like later Phoenixes always put under paint. Hmm, if you stripped the scuffed black paint you could have a natural ash RS... or some kind of cool relic inbetween.

I have a feeling that these had an ACT-2 or ACT 3 FR style trem set up like the Inazuma III which is why the rout is so big.

That looks like a Kahler Tremolo route to me... not an authority or anything. What year would this be? I think the Kahlers were popular in the mid to late 80's.
