The classic wave headstock at least for the LP versions gets my first vote;

The X910 Explorer headstock was also interesting, but probably the most challenging for manufacturing;

The idea of a consolidation of headstock design sounds like a pretty good idea, however that could be accomplished;

If possible -
Just keep the double e "peace sign" on the headstock - or somewhere it can be seen.

What about the logo on the tuners as it is on LP MPC models?

And the same logo on the cases!

Too bad the banana headstock on the Explorer would be a target for lawsuit.

The outlaw headstock is (I think) a nealry unaltered standard Terada headstock shape.

The Phoenix headstock harkens back to the Kustom Kraft headstock (also owned by SLM)

I agree with you on the MPC effects. New mods that fit the old guitars too. It would be nice to buy a mod that works with out camping out on ebay for a vintage one that may or may not work. A lot of us didnt get to buy many back in the day.

I think RCSBlues has something on the logo on the head stock and the tuners. I always thought that gave it a little more class.

BTW I have a neck through V prototype in the works with a wave headstock

That would be cool to have a neck through V. I prefer the neck through design as I think it gives much better sustain. Can't wait to see some Photos and get a look at the new generation of Electras. Thanks again

I'd like to see you take the MPC concept into the 21st century with built-in modeling so you can program 30 or so settings (rather than swapping out modules) that you can select on the fly.

For example, put the guts into the same area that the modules reside in a "Classic" MPC and this is where you would do your initial programming as well. Use one or two spring loaded toggle switches to "Bank-up" or "Bank-down" with and mount a LED display in a inconspicuous location (Top side edge so only you can see it as you look down) so you know which preset is selected. Do all this while maintaining classic styling such as a vintage cherry sunburst flame top LP (not something that looks all "Teched Out) and I'll place my order as soon as "Mamma" says I can!

Couple of other things that would also be nice is USB connectivity and on-board recording/looping. Oh, and a nice piezo saddle setup with acoustic guitar modeling to make it sound spot-on like a Martin D-28 when you want it to!

Not that I'm asking for much!

I can't wait to see it! And promptly imagine it as a bass, since I can't do a whole lot with a guitar. Bonus points for neck-through!

Hey Ben. On a simpler note, I'm sure I'm not the only one who's noticed. Please tell us that we will be able to buy an Electra Banner like the one hanging in your shop? And T-shirts, Hats, Guitar Picks, Guitar straps, Patio sets................well, maybe the patio sets a bit much but hey we're droolin here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Oooo, I'd like a banner too! And a t-shirt, but NOT in black! I live in Florida and my truck has no A/C, not to mention I don't like black to begin with! And a decent quality Electra branded strap would be cool as well... I like how we've gotten into merchandising already.
