What is the first or primary image that comes to mind? Is it a guitar you own? Is it a guitar you wish you owned? Is it an old ad? Is it the logo or headstock. What is the go to picture that comes to mind?

For me it's the wave headstock

I think of the peace sign, then the wave headstock and my guitar.

Totally the peace sign logo.
My phoenix too, considering how much I love that guitar.

My Vulcan X940!!

Okay, we've been having a debate around here about the logo.
Is it EE or EG for Electra Guitars? We are thinking EG but...
Does anyone know the story?
Thanks!

Ben, if that were EG, wouldn't the g in the Electra Guitars of your avatar be like the logo? :-?

My first Electra was an X110 Rock Strad that I should have kept, but I traded it in on my X340 - which set the standard for me - at least for the LP / MPC style; can't say that I have ever played any other Electra style - ever.

And Ben - I hadn't noticed that the double e headstock inlay actually looks like "eg"; my eyes have been opened! I believe "Electra Guitar(s)" is right on.

I always thought the Electra logo was like 2 mirrored lower case e's to make the (upside down) peace sign...........

Thanks,
RCSBlues

It probably should be! That is the banner we did real fast for the NAMM show last January. There wasn't a "font" so the guys had to recreate it. I will see if we can fix it. Thanks!

I dunno, if you redo it the gap between the G and the U might look a bit off.
